Hello I’m Grace, a girl from Singapore who just wants to explore as many new places possible without rushing too much. I’ve had the opportunity to travel quite a bit for the last few years and I just wanted to pen down and keep a record of my travels. Hopefully to whoever who comes across my blog it will help you to plan your own trips and give you inspirations for new destinations.

Though I will say most of my travels have been based in Japan and Korea. My dream is to visit all 47 prefectures in Japan 🙂

Planner and Overthinker

I am definitely the planner on the trip. You need it especially when you need to plan travel times when you are in places where public transport doesn’t come so often. But also means I end up overthinking a lot of things and scenarios. If that is you Join me in learning to let go when things fall through and just go with the flow. And remembering that it’s ok to have a rest day.

My travel style is not super budget or luxurious though I like a nice place to rest and have a space to just chill and even watch Netflix. My recent trips have spanned from about 2 weeks to 2 months. So a certain level of planning is required.

Travelling with others

I’ve done some solo travels but I’ve travelled quite fair bit with my mom over the last 3+ years. It’s not always easy travelling with others. Being able to travel with her is a blessing but it’s also with its ups and downs. Sometimes its easier to travel solo and do what you want but it can be comforting to have someone with you of course there is also the cost benefit. Here are just some musings or thoughts to think about when travelling with others to make your trip more enjoyable.

Putting Destinations to Print

Creating digital prints based on places I’ve been was just something I started to give to my friends as Christmas cards. It was a nice way to remember where I’d been for the year and to share these places with others. After some encouragement I decided to put these prints up for sale so you can get them here.
